Associate, Social Media Content Creator
This role will be responsible for concepting, creating and producing high-converting videos designed specifically for emerging digital platforms: TikTok, YouTube, and Instagram/Meta. You will utilize social trends and best practices to incorporate innovative approaches and ideas that engage new and existing audiences.
You are conceptual and creative, as well as data-driven, constantly optimizing content to drive growth and engagement across platforms. You are social media-obsessed, on top of trends, best practices, and growth strategies. You are comfortable on-camera, as you’ll be a regular face and voice in our content.
As the Social Media Content Creator, you will:
- Be the primary (on-camera) content creator for our TikTok, Youtube and Instagram channels, leading the conception, creation, and production of high-converting video content.
- Utilize knowledge of social trends and best practices to deliver creative, fresh ideas for our social accounts on a regular basis.
- Work closely with brand and marketing team leads to develop and implement video content for product launches, marketing campaigns and new initiatives.
- Analyze performance and use data to create incremental video optimizations that drive growth, engagement and reach across all video platforms
- Provide insights and opportunities into key social content and video trends
- Monitor and stay ahead of social media trends and incorporate innovative approaches to engage new and existing audiences.
- Stay up-to-date with social media trends, and industry best practices to ensure content remains relevant and optimized for maximum reach and engagement, including general content marketing trends and creative approaches.
- Collaborate and partner with internal teams to identify new opportunities to drive brand awareness through video content. (event b-roll, employee interviews, behind-the-scenes at Paxful, etc.)
Requirements:
- Experience editing, producing, and publishing social-first video content, tailored for specific platforms (YouTube, Instagram, TikTok).
- Avid social media user who has a deep understanding of TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube
- Ability to produce, shoot, and edit short-form videos independently
- Ability to work off of a brief as well as pitch original concepts, regularly contributing ideas for all organic social media content
- Ability to promptly identify social media trends and respond accordingly
- Comfort with on-camera work since you’ll be a regular face and voice in our content
- Excellent writing skills to craft compelling copy for video graphics, captions, and comment responses
- Someone who has a keen eye and grasp for the visual identity and aesthetic of our brand
- Portfolio that showcases your social media video experience
- Ability to optimize content strategically to drive results
