Senior Front End Developer

We’re looking for someone to work with our clients engineering organization to deliver app experiences across several streaming platforms built on a common platform and shared technology. The Web transactional team is a fast-paced and fast-growing team that shares knowledge and code for initiatives that span all commerce and identity teams! We are seeking individuals with a passion for learning and developing the future of streaming services on the web. As a member of the Web Commerce and Identity team you’ll build the core sign-up, purchase, and subscription management experiences of our Web platform. As a Senior Software Engineer you serve as a high level technical resource and “go-to” person, solving sophisticated technical challenges and finding opportunities to improve systems, products, and services.

Required Experience:

5+ years experience building highly scalable and performant production level web applications.
Demonstrated ability to architect complex technical changes, to knowledge-share, and get buy-in for their solutions.
An interest in writing well-documented, clear, and robust code.
Experience working within a modern Javascript workflow.
Experience shipping a production React/Node.js application
Experience writing code with Typescript
Proven ability to integrate with third party systems (ex: APIs, SDKs, etc)
Highly diligent with the ability to see projects from beginning to end; designing workflows and delegating tasks to team members.
Quickly learn, understand, and adapt to new technologies; identifying root causes and driving solutions to highly sophisticated problems.
Exhibits emotional intelligence, supervising oneself under high pressure situations and meets urgent timelines.
Ability to support and mentor other developers by building trust, identifying goals, encouraging, instructing, and providing constructive feedback.
Optimally collaborates and communicates with team members and multi-functional partners, engaging technical topics with clarity.
