Web Developer Intern

We are inviting motivated Web Developer Interns to join our team, tasked with developing three strategic websites using WordPress. This unique internship will focus on building a new website for a cutting-edge healthcare technology project, redesigning our current corporate website, and launching a fresh website for a new real estate venture. The ideal candidates will engage in every stage of web development from conceptual design to implementation, with a strong emphasis on SEO optimisation to enhance online presence and user interaction.

Responsibilities:

• Website Creation and Redesign: Lead the development of a new WordPress site for our cutting-edge healthcare technology project and a real estate business, while also transforming our existing corporate site into a modern, responsive, and engaging online presence.
• SEO Strategy Execution: Implement effective SEO strategies across all sites to maximise visibility and rank high in search results.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Work alongside content creators and marketing specialists to ensure that all sites are not only visually appealing but also content-rich and SEO-optimised.
• Performance Optimisation: Ensure all websites are optimised for speed and user experience across all devices.
• Quality Assurance: Conduct extensive testing to guarantee functional and aesthetic quality before site launches.

Qualifications:

• Studying towards or a recent graduate in Web Development, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Proficient in WordPress, including custom themes and plugins.
• Demonstrable understanding of SEO tools and best practices.
• Strong problem-solving skills and meticulous attention to detail.
• Excellent teamwork skills and the ability to manage independent projects.
