Video Editing Intern

The Video Editing Summer Intern will play a key role in reviewing, editing, organizing, and filing 60+ hours of new video footage that will be used by marketing and communications for web, social media, and other purposes. The ideal candidate should also have the skills to create video snippets

and longer segments from existing footage to support various internal and external needs. This is a great opportunity to put proven video skills to great use.

The Video Editing Intern will report into the Director, Digital Marketing Content Experiences and collaborate closely with Parexel’s Corporate Marketing Team and Communications Team.

Key Accountabilities:

• Trim/edit video footage segments
• Edit the segments into a sequence or final video for marketing and communications needs
• Input music, dialogues, graphics, and effects
• Create rough and final cuts
• Ensure logical sequencing and smooth running
• Consult with stakeholders from production to post-production process
• Tag video files for easy sorting in digital asset management software

Skills:

• Demonstrated video editing capabilities
• Basic color correction and audio mixing
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
• Some experience with digital asset management tools
• Ability to take direction from multiple requestors and coordinate simultaneous projects to align with required deadlines
• Ability to manage multiple and varied tasks with enthusiasm and prioritize workload with attention to detail

Knowledge And Experience:

• Minimum of 1-2 years’ experience editing video with a focus on websites and social media
• Experience with Adobe suite, especially Adobe Premiere Pro
• Experience with Microsoft suite of products and other digital marketing tools preferred

Education:

• Must be a current student pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Filmography, Marketing, Communications, or related field; graduating in 2025 or 2024, or recent graduate (December 2023-May 2024)
