About Your New Role:

As the Vice President of Sales at CommandLink, you will be responsible for leading and scaling our sales operations, managing a team of Channel Directors, and driving revenue growth across our enterprise-focused market segments. This role demands a strategic leader who excels in closing high-value deals, supports Directors in partner and customer engagements, and embodies the CommandLink brand. You will operate with minimal bureaucratic constraints, making swift decisions and fostering a high-performance sales environment.

This is a Full-Time, remote position. Individuals located in the Western US Region are preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and mentor a team of Channel Directors, guiding them in achieving sales targets and driving growth.
  • Serve as a key closer for complex enterprise sales, actively participating in partner calls and customer demos.
  • Exhibit a “grinder mentality” with a hands-on approach to overcoming challenges and driving results.
  • Oversee the sales funnel with a strong command, ensuring efficient management of partner engagement processes.
  • Evaluate and enhance the development and performance of sales representatives.
  • Analyze enterprise transactions and deal challenges, providing expert insights and solutions.
  • Lead high-profile customer-facing appointments and presentations.
  • Represent CommandLink at channel events, including participation in panels, speeches, and leading high-level conversations with some of the country’s brightest technology consultants.
  • Organize and lead 2-4 day market-specific travel roadshows with goals for 3-5 appointments per day to support the scaling of sales representatives.
  • Master the quoting process, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company standards.
  • Demonstrate technical knowledge related to SD-WAN/SASE and Network Aggregation at a Sales Engineer-lite level.
  • Work efficiently and with high velocity, applying advanced financial modeling and Excel skills.
  • Motivate and lead the sales team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
  • Embrace and promote CommandLink’s channel strategies, acting as a brand ambassador.
  • Align with CommandLink’s culture and values, representing our brand with integrity.

What You’ll Need For Success:

  • Proven experience in a senior enterprise sales role, with a strong background in SD-WAN/SASE or Network Aggregation.
  • Demonstrated success in managing and scaling sales teams, with a focus on enterprise sales. We are also interested in speaking with top producer salespeople who are looking to advance into a sales leadership role, but we will ask for quantification of past sales excellence.
  • Expertise in funnel management, partner engagement, and enterprise transaction analysis.
  • Experience in customer-facing roles, with a successful track record in demos and presentations.
  • Technical acumen related to circuits/SASE, with a preference for experience in SD-WAN/SASE.
  • High proficiency in financial modeling and Excel.
  • Strong leadership and motivational skills, with a commitment to CommandLink’s channel strategies and brand.
  • Established relationships and experience selling through Technology Services Distributors (TSDs) such as Avant, Telarus, Sandler, Intelisys, AppDirect, Bridgepointe, and Technology Advisors in all areas of the U.S.
