About The Right Team Member:

The Localization Associate will support the translations for product releases, web updates, customer communications, and other cross-functional efforts. This team member will be part of our Conversion Rate Optimization team, aiming to continuously improve our web and app experience.

The professional will work across our Mindbody and ClassPass organizations, collaborating with members of our engineering, product, creative, and regional marketing teams to streamline our localization workflows. The Localization Associate will support the translations for product releases, web updates, customer communications, and other cross-functional efforts. This team member will be part of our Conversion Rate Optimization team, aiming to continuously improve our web and app experience. The candidate will work across our Mindbody and ClassPass organizations, collaborating with members of our engineering, product, creative and regional marketing teams to streamline our localization workflows.

About The Role:

• Conduct quality assurance checks
• Maintain translation memories, terminology databases, and other linguistic assets
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure smooth execution of localization projects
• Liaise with external translation vendors and internal stakeholders to coordinate project timelines and deliverables
• Assist in troubleshooting localization issues and providing solutions to optimize the localization process

Skills & Experience:

• Experience in a localization coordinator or project manager role
• Experience with Smartling or a similar CAT tool or Translation Management System (TMS)
• Familiarity with Translation Memory (TM) and terminology management
• Knowledge of Machine Translation (MT) tools and best practices in quality management
• Degree in translation, localization, or a related field
• Proficiency in English and another language
• Familiarity with a Content Management System (CMS) is a plus
• Proficiency in German or Japanese is a plus
