Software Engineering Team Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled Full-Stack Node Developer to join our dynamic team as the Team Lead for our cloud computation engine dedicated to medical image processing.

What you’ll be doing:

This role requires expertise in architecting, back-end development, and front-end development.

As the Team Lead, you will be responsible for guiding the technical direction of the project, leading a small team of developers, and ensuring the successful implementation of our solutions.

  • Lead the technical architecture and design discussions, providing guidance and best practices to the development team.
  • Develop and maintain robust back-end solutions using Typescript, MySQL, and AWS (Amazon Web Services).
  • Oversee the development of our small manager front-end application.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product management, design, and quality assurance to deliver high-quality software solutions.
  • Mentor and coach junior developers, fostering a culture of learning and continuous improvement.
  • Conduct code reviews to ensure adherence to coding standards, best practices, and architectural guidelines.
  • Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends, recommending innovative solutions to enhance our products.

What we look for:

  • Proven experience as a Full-Stack Developer with expertise in Node.js, AWS Services, SQL.
  • Strong understanding of software engineering principles.
  • Prior experience in a leadership or tech lead role, demonstrating the ability to guide and mentor a small team.
  • Proficiency in writing clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
  • Experience with cloud computing platforms, particularly AWS.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude towards challenges.
  • Attention to Detail: Thorough and meticulous approach to tasks.
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
  • Prior experience with serverless architectures.
  • Knowledge of containerization technologies
  • Familiarity with front-end frameworks/libraries such as Angular.
