Social Media Manager (Contract)

We are seeking an ambitious and detail-oriented Social Media Manager (Contract) to support our social media efforts at Scale Media. We are dedicated to delivering high-quality products to our customers and fostering a positive and engaging brand presence.

This role involves managing our social media channels, scheduling posts, writing captions, designing creative briefs, and engaging with our community. The ideal candidate is organized, flexible, and passionate about digital marketing in the health and wellness industries.

They will also be responsible for developing and implementing social media strategies that enhance brand awareness, engage our target audience, and drive business growth. This remote position requires excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a deadline-driven environment.

Responsibilities:

Strategy Development and Implementation:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive social media strategies that align with overall brand and business objectives.
  • Conduct market research to identify trends, audience preferences, and competitive landscape to inform strategy

Social Media Strategy Execution:

  • Implement and support internal social media strategies and best practices across various social media channels, including Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube.
  • Coordinate and schedule weekly/monthly content for all social channels using appropriate social applications.
  • Write captions for posts following provided guidelines and brand voice.

Community Engagement:

  • Serve as Community Manager, responding to comments, direct messages, and customer inquiries promptly and professionally.
  • Engage with other accounts on social platforms to foster community and build relationships.
  • Engage with our social media community, answering questions, solving problems, and fostering a positive environment.

Content Support:

  • Write briefs for User-Generated Content (UGC) creators using provided templates. Topics will be pre-selected, and the role requires expanding on them within the template.

Performance Insights:

  • Provide key insights on content to support performance optimization efforts led by Creative Brand Managers.
  • Stay abreast of current digital technologies and social media trends.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Social Media Manager or similar role, with a focus on brand management.
  • Extensive knowledge of social media platforms and industry trends.
  • Strong copywriting skills with the ability to express brand views creatively.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and stay organized in a fast-paced environment.
  • High energy, attention to detail, and strong follow-up skills.
  • Familiarity with social media analytics and reporting tools.
  • Experience in the health, wellness, or beauty industries is a plus.
  • Experience working with remote teams and managing multiple social media accounts.
  • Ability to provide high-level insights on social media performance to support optimization efforts.

What We Offer:

  • Salary Range: $60,000 – $70,000 (Dependent on experience)
