Services Project Manager

The Services Project Manager – Delivery Assurance is responsible for the management of customer specific engagements to implement Dayforce HCM solutions. These engagements will focus on the Delivery Assurance/Audit of Partner-led implementations and Dayforce-led Value-Added Services (VAS) projects for existing customers. There may also be an opportunity to be involved in native Dayforce-led implementations. This varied role requires strong project management experience and agility to leverage Dayforce’s implementation methodology, whilst assessing a Partner’s project governance as it aligns to their own methodology.

The Project Manager will be responsible for the Delivery Assurance aspect of Partner-led – complex and multi-dimensional engagements for Dayforce HCM solution implementations, according to the agreed scope and timeline, enabling a high level of customer satisfaction. The Project Manager manages multiple concurrent projects, working closely with consultants in a matrix environment and interacting with Education, Product Management, Support and R&D to ensure delivery. The Project Manager builds a constructive working relationship with the customer and is accountable for deliverables, timeline, and budget, as well as coaching the project team to success. The Project Manager will be required to build a constructive working relationship with our Partners, Customers, and Dayforce’s internal specialist areas to support both our Dayforce-led and Partner-led implementations.

What You’ll Get To Do:

  • Effectively manage the Delivery Assurance process, and work with a team of professional Project Managers. Manage multiple, concurrent projects ensuring quality, on-time, and on-budget implementations.
  • Plan, manage and communicate the progress of the project, achieving project milestones and maintaining momentum of the project. Utilise the Dayforce Methodology to drive implementations to successful completion, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction and referenceability.
  • Set and manage partner and customer expectations regarding project governance, scope and timeline, risk management, organisational readiness and stakeholder responsibilities. Present and manage sign-off of key milestones and deliverables, such as project Kick-off, Discovery workbook, Project Plan, Status Report, Steering Committee Report, Change Requests (CRs), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), Support Transition, Project Closure, etc.
  • Build and maintain effective professional relationships with internal and external stakeholders to enable successful delivery of projects, including the provision of advice and support to required processes and methodologies. Motivate internal teams to document solutions and leverage and contribute to a solutions repository for continued knowledge sharing.
  • Prepare CRs as required to capture change in scope, cost and/or timeline. Assist customer in driving the UAT process and participate in project health checks and post go-live analysis on completed projects with GPMO.
  • Adhere to and promote highest quality standards in project governance and delivery and contribute to the GPMO. Contribute to the enhancement of Dayforce’s Delivery Assurance and Implementation methodology, providing feedback on tools and templates that drive continuous improvement and best practices approach.
  • Participate in Continuing Education sessions, complete new release training on a timely basis; be familiar with new and/or enhanced functionality in each product release. Effectively transition customers to Support.

Skills And Experience We Value:

  • Relevant Tertiary qualifications in Business, HRM, IT, with demonstrated experience in Project and Change Management of human capital management applications and practices, consulting within dynamic work environments.
  • Demonstrated experience in Project Management Governance and reporting methodologies, including business process mapping, project schedule creation and management, data and statistical analytics, and reporting.
  • Demonstrated success in coordinating a team of professional project managers.
  • Accreditation and/or substantial experience as a Management Systems Auditor, demonstrating an uncompromising commitment to quality practices and processes.
  • High level proficiency (or the ability to quickly come up to speed) in software applications including Salesforce CRM, Microsoft Office Suite (including PowerPoint & Excel) and Microsoft Teams; as well as internal applications, such as Power BI and CSA (Services Operations).
  • Project Management accreditation such as PMI/PMP (Required).
