What We’re Looking For:

The SurveyMonkey Growth Team is responsible for increasing user acquisition, conversion, expansion, and engagement through innovating our flagship product and improving user experiences. We implement and run controlled experiments and make data-driven product decisions. Our team is encouraged to take big swings and make a measurable impact.

We are looking for an experienced Full Stack Software Engineer who enjoys a challenge and can work across multiple dev stacks and codebases. You will have the opportunity to take ownership of some of our growth experiments and the underlying growth infrastructure.

What You’ll Be Working On:

  • Develop full stack code, implement unit and automation test suites, and conduct code reviews
  • Contribute to tech stack enhancements for adoption of A/B testing
  • Have full ownership of Growth projects, including crafting technical specs, writing readable and extensible code, and keeping tabs on post-release metrics
  • Partner with Product, Design, and Data Science teams to implement experiments that help us better understand our customers and further drive business
  • Work closely with multiple Engineering teams, expanding both your skills and impact
  • Analyze experiment outcomes for actionable business insights
  • Champion best practices and coding standards, the culture of code reviews and collaboration

We’d love to hear from people with:

  • 4+ years software engineering experience in both front and backend development
  • Experience with technologies such as JavaScript, React, REST/GraphQL and Python
  • The ability to build scalable and highly performant applications
  • A growth mindset in both yourself and in how you approach challenges
  • Ability to work with both co-located remote engineers, and cross-functional partners
  • Enthusiasm to contribute to a culture of code reviews, collaboration, and mentorship
