Senior SEO Manager

Key outcomes of the role:

• You are the contact person for all SEO topics and report directly to the Head of Product
• Strategy: You are responsible for the (further) development and implementation of our SEO strategy
• Optimization: You are responsible for sustainably improving the organic visibility of our websites
• Collaboration: You will work closely with almost all of our teams, such as the content team, product/dev team, and management
• Management: In addition to your project teams and your own team, you also manage agencies and freelancers
• Quality: You are responsible for the quality management of our products from an SEO perspective
• Analysis: You create SEO analyses and reports and derive recommendations for action
• Ideas and innovations: You bring your own ideas and suggestions for improvement

About you:

• You have successfully completed your studies in business administration, (business) informatics or a similar course of study or have a comparable education
• You have at least 5 years of practical experience in a comparable field of activity, ideally also as a team lead
• You have excellent creativeand technical SEO skills
• You work confidently with common SEO tools such as SISTRIX
• You are experienced in agile project management (Scrum or Kanban)
• You have some knowledge of JIRA, PHP, Javascript, HTML and/or a CMS such as WordPress
• You are very empathetic, pragmatic, assertive and a real team player
• You critically question requirements in order to ensure the best possible result
• You put the user at the center and are passionate about B2C products
• Your German language skills are at native speaker level and you have a very good command of English
• Ideally, you have already gained some experience in the field of e-commerce or with content management systems
