Senior SEO Manager
We are looking for a Senior SEO Manager to join and lead our SEO team at BOLD Poland. This role will lead our global SEO performance in English and several other languages spanning 20+ SEO portals, as well as lead our team of SEO Program Managers who are the direct SEO owners of specific portal groups in these markets and languages. Additionally, this role will work closely with Senior Leadership and partner with teams such as Product, Design/UX, Content, Engineering, Digital PR, Customer Support, to develop our SEO strategy, and deliver business growth via SEO. This role is also responsible for SEO budgeting and forecasting, preparing and reporting management information, and supporting senior leadership in tracking, as well as measuring, and optimizing the business performance.
How do we work?
- Execute and develop the global SEO strategy of our portals and products.
- Collaborate on quarterly plans and long-term SEO strategy with the Director, Content & SEO, as well as other Marketing and Business leaders.
- Work closely with partner teams such as Product, Design/UX, Content, Engineering, Digital PR, Customer Support, to plan, organize and manage cross-team collaboration & shared projects aimed at maximizing business growth.
- Create and optimize SEO, UX, content of our portals and products.
- Monitor SEO performance and constantly look for opportunities to scale organic traffic and sales.
- Own our SEO traffic and revenue goals.
- Each quarter, set team and individual OKRTs, to grow our SEO performance and track progress against monthly goals and the yearly budget.
- Every 6 months, during the performance review, discuss the two previous quarters and evaluate not only our work but also the work of our leaders.
Technologies/tools we use:
- SEO: Ahrefs, Rank Ranger, Google Search Console, Google Analytics 4, Screaming Frog, and more.
- Content: custom CMS or WordPress, Jasper AI, internal tools, and more.
- CRO: Internal A/B testing tool.
- Data and reporting: Sisense, Microstrategy, Looker, R, internal tools.
- JIRA, Google Workspace, Slack, Zoom, Culture Amp, Workleap (Officevibe), Workday.
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
- Lead and directly supervise a talented team of 9 SEO Program Managers who are the direct SEO owners of specific portal groups in these markets and languages.
- Build and scale SEO traffic and leads in multiple languages and for multiple portals at the same time. We currently cover 20+ portals spanning multiple markets in US English, UK English, French, Spanish, German, Italian, Polish, Portuguese.
- Troubleshoot and solve SEO traffic and ranking problems, including dealing with major Google algorithm changes and shifts in the competitor landscape.
- Establish clear performance indicators and deliver Senior Leadership updates.
- Forecast and plan market expansion.
- Come up with new business strategies and ideas for SEO to generate revenue, including planning and execution.
- Closely collaborate with Product teams to improve the conversion rates for organic traffic and make sure that SEO/Marketing efforts and Product efforts are aligned.
- Work closely with other partner teams from the US, Puerto Rico, India, and Poland, such as Design/UX, Content, Engineering, Digital PR, Customer Support, to maximize positive impact for the business.
- Plan and deliver SEO portal redesigns, migrations, overhauls, new launches.
- Proactively provide analytics and key findings for the team and company as a whole.
- Identify and evaluate acquisitions to improve the global SEO footprint.
- Perform competitive research and opportunity analysis for the company.
- Be an in-house SEO expert, monitoring trends on best practices and any changes in the Search space, ultimately ensuring top rankings.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED:
- Experience of min. 8 years in an SEO job, including min. 3 years leading a team doing SEO globally, working in multiple languages concurrently, ideally in a B2C SaaS environment.
- Experience developing, coordinating & executing demand generation plans, programs, and campaigns.
- Experience in growing, troubleshooting, and solving SEO performance issues for big portals, or multiple portals at the same time.
- Experience in working with Product, Engineering, Design/UX, Content teams and other business units and stakeholders to deliver business growth and high-impact projects.
- Proven track record of taking ownership, thinking strategically, and successfully delivering results in a fast-paced environment.
- Advanced knowledge of web design principles and technologies, and their SEO implications.
- Advanced SEO analytics skills, forecasting & budgeting skills.
- SEO A/B testing experience.
- Growth Marketer mindset.
- Highly results-driven and data-driven.
- Getting things done attitude: know how to get things done even if it requires finding a new or a way around, prioritize well, be ready to be hands-on when necessary.
- Open, flexible, with good communication skills and teamwork skills.
- Experience partnering with senior executives and delivering leadership reporting and in-meeting updates.
- Experience in working in an international environment, operating effectively within different cultures and backgrounds.
- Excellent English and at least one additional INTL language (Spanish, French, Italian, German, Polish, Portuguese).
WHAT’S GOOD TO HAVE:
- Degree in a relevant or related field (Marketing, Business Administration; Information Technology, Computer Science, Data Analytics).
- The more additional INTL languages you know, the better — we plan to scale and increase the scope of markets and languages we cover.

- Employment Agreement: 22 000 – 25 000 PLN gross (Umowa o Pracę)
