Senior Marketing Specialist- Social Media

We are seeking a collaborative and savvy social media specialist to join our Global Brand & Digital Marketing team, whose mission is to unify our brand strategy with creative design and digital channels to drive the goals of our clients, prospects, business, and brand. You will be a critical part of the team guiding and activating our social media strategy, crafting copy and providing guidance to internal partners on organic social media content and campaigns. You’ll help us integrate with the complete marketing picture – by helping craft a cohesive social experience, telling our stories, and illustrating our impact.

You should be both a self-starter and a collaborator, as each digital channel needs to thrive on its own and in concert with each other. You should be comfortable diving into social media copywriting, editorial calendar management, and reporting on performance. Organic social media should be your first language and building relationships should be your bread and butter. Social channel evolutions and best practices should be something that thrills and interests you. Educating partners and providing guidance on how to craft strategic content should bring you joy.

This role is considered hybrid, which means you’ll be assigned to a Broadridge office and given the flexibility to work remote. We travel occasionally to collaborate in person or attend company or industry events.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Provide hands-on guidance and coaching to internal partners on social copywriting, providing edits and recommendations that strengthen our content and user experience.
  • Manage our organic content review workflow and final approval via our publishing tool, Sprinklr.
  • Own organic content reporting from a monthly view, providing insights and learnings to partners across the organization that help enable creative thinking and approaches to social.
  • Partner with our Director of Social on campaign development, working together to ensure we consistently deliver on expectations and put our best foot forward.
  • Partner with our in-house Creative Design team to guide the creation of social assets that engage and delight our audiences and refine our channel-specific visual guidelines and best practices fueled by performance data.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 3+ years’ experience in social media management
  • Proven experience creating and editing social media copy for enterprise channels
  • Experience working with and managing partners across a distributed organization
  • Experience reporting on organic content performance
  • Aptitude for using data to inform the direction of content
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms and how they integrate into the larger picture of marketing (web, email, analytics, content) to serve users and the business
  • Experience communicating platform changes and best practices to a larger team
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • A critical thinker with a proactive approach to solving problems
  • A desire to make an impact on an already successful brand with great people and products
  • Previous support of event activations on social a plus

Salary range $85,000- $ 90,000. Bonus Eligible.

Broadridge considers various factors when evaluating a candidate’s final salary including, but not limited to, relevant experience, skills, and education.

Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.
