Senior Manager, Global Social Media Strategist

Paxful is hiring an experienced and strategic social media professional to lead our global social channels. As the Social Media Strategist, you will play a pivotal role in developing and executing a strategic social media presence across our platforms – and establishing a strong connection with our community. You will lead both organic and paid social initiatives to drive follower growth, engagement and overall brand sentiment.

We’re looking for someone with a passion for team leadership, project management, and strategic analysis. Success in this role requires the ability to think strategically and move fast to execute strategy and optimizations. You have excellent project management skills, a deep and current knowledge of each platform’s unique offerings and influencers, a keen eye for compelling and innovative content, and a passion for continuous improvement.

What you’ll do:

Strategy and Growth:

  • Conceive, develop and manage a comprehensive social media strategy for Paxful, utilizing both organic and paid opportunities such as ads, influencers, partnerships and more.
  • Leverage data, human, cultural, and audience insights to develop reactive social concepts and strategic adjustments
  • Define targeted growth strategies for our different markets, identifying unique demographic and geographic insights and trends.
  • Plan, propose, and execute paid social campaigns that deliver leads and achieve performance goals.
  • Own day-to-day paid social campaign management. Includes planning, setup, creative development, quality assurance, testing, measurement/reporting, and optimization.
  • Apply a highly analytical approach to our campaign management; track budgets, test variables, optimize ad spend and drive efficiency.
  • Stay updated and report on industry trends, competitor activity, platform updates and best practices to ensure content remains relevant and optimized for maximum reach and engagement.

Content and Operations:

  • Serve as the in-house expert on social channels, community management and growth opportunities. Channels include, but are not limited to: Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, TikTok, Reddit, etc.
  • Spearhead the development, production and execution of social content, constantly innovating with a strong point of view and leveraging channel performance data, customer insights and industry trends.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ideate and execute innovative campaigns that align with business goals and initiatives
  • Develop a unique and ownable brand voice across socials to build brand recognition and a distinct personality against our competitors.

Performance and Analytics:

  • Develop and advocate for social KPIs that enhance our brands’ reputations, grow audiences, and generate leads.
  • Analyze performance and deliver regular reporting on key metrics, using both quantitative data and qualitative feedback. Make data-driven adjustments to drive growth, engagement and reach across all video platforms.
  • Utilize social listening and analytics to identity and communicate key insights and recommendations to other departments, including but not limited to Product, CCX and Marketing.

Community Management:

  • Maintain responsibility for generating engagement-driving initiatives meant to increase interactions between our communities, followers and relevant brands.
  • Deliver timely written content on twitter, responding to trending conversations, and timely news.
  • Drive consumer interest and brand awareness by proactively reaching out to influencers, brands, and thought leaders in relevant industries, initiating collaborations to amplify messaging and expand reach to new audiences.
  • Become the resident expert on the sentiments, needs, and frustrations of our community members, proactively communicating emerging trends in our business and industry.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in social media strategy, understanding their algorithms, features, and best practices.
  • Results oriented – proven experience improving campaign ROAS, and program effectiveness through A/B testing, conversion optimization, channel expansion, creative design, and more.
  • Experience with lead attribution and user tracking to measure and optimize the effectiveness of funnel-aligned digital activities. Includes: pixel implementation, web analytics tools, and site conversion event tracking.
  • Experience using and evaluating social publishing and social listening tools
  • Strong writing, communication, and visual presentation skills. Use data to derive insights and present information to other department leads clearly.
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • A creative mindset with a keen eye for detail and current social media trends.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills. Can distill competing inputs from stakeholders to set a vision and design the right long-term solution.
  • Highly collaborative team player with a hands-on mentality and a willingness to explore and try new things – not afraid to roll up your sleeves to meet a goal.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, performance-focused business environment. Adept at handling new challenges and changes with ease.
  • Hands-on experience building and managing multiple campaigns across various paid and social media and digital ad platforms.
  • Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite and native video editing for TikTok and Reels a plus.
  • Experience in crypto or fintech is a plus
  • Experience in a global business is a plus
