Senior Copywriter

Our award-winning technology powers conversations with customers for some of the world’s largest enterprises. We believe that combining the human touch with technology is the best way to create amazing customer experiences. When human abilities such as problem-solving, creative thinking and relationship building are enhanced with technology… magical moments happen.

Glia is looking for a senior writer who is a master of his or her craft—someone just as adept at producing clear, punchy headlines, taglines, video scripts, and emails as he or she is at turning technical and product information into readable, engaging blog posts and whitepapers. This Senior Copywriter will forge impactful relationships with not only Revenue Marketing colleagues, but also Sales and Product Marketing for a full-funnel approach to content design and creation–stretching from brand awareness down to user adoption.

This is an exciting opportunity for a multi-disciplined experienced writer, with a focus on building and scaling industry-leading digital content and experiences for our customers and prospects. You’ll have the chance to inform brand identity, help shape the brand voice, and contribute to the growth and development of a dedicated team at a category-creating, pre-IPO company. You’ll raise the bar for the creative quality of our marketing efforts through work such as crafting market narratives, content design for campaigns, and web writing that inspires action.

This creative dynamo will be able to design content that connects deeply with Gila’s financial services customers to surprise, delight, and empower our B2B audience with B2C finesse. At Glia, we’ve redefined how financial services companies interact with their customers–we’re looking for an ace storyteller who can help us redefine writing and content in the fintech space.

What you’ll do:

  • Write copy against format guidelines and brand tone of voice for video, print, digital, email, search and social; concept and write any advertising and marketing materials as part of the content team
  • Create unconventional, compelling, fun, and engaging content that pushes boundaries to connect with our financial services industry uniquely
  • Work cross-functionally, balancing the needs of stakeholders and breaking down complex narratives into simple, compelling ideas with clear, jargon-free language
  • Collaborate with public relations, product marketing, content strategists, business colleagues, and external subject matter experts to develop stories and shape assets
  • Regularly meet with internal subject matter experts to gain accurate information for content
  • Proof creative work and lead review cycles with cross-company collaborators and external contributors when necessary (executive stakeholders, product marketing, and other partners) carrying your projects through to completion
  • Contribute to the development and design of marketing processes and program management
  • Leverage and maintain sharp business acumen so all of your work has a clear path to high performance and pipeline contribution

What you need:

  • A strong portfolio demonstrating your passion for the creative craft through effective marketing campaigns
  • A 4-year degree in advertising, English, business, writing, communications, or similar
  • Minimum 5 years of experience writing and developing short-form B2B copy across an array of formats — ad copy, email marketing, newsletters, web copy, etc. with long-form confidence
  • A deep knowledge of the B2B-content landscape and major trends in the industry
  • The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, agile environment working with highly-collaborative, cross-functional teams.
  • A proven track record of successfully operating independently—managing competing priorities, following schedules, and meeting deadlines—all while maintaining impeccable output
  • Extraordinary, near-perfect understanding of grammar, punctuation, and style rules that you apply with meticulous attention to detail

What will help:

  • Experience writing in fintech or financial services (preferred)
  • Experience working with global teams
  • Familiarity with remote work tools like Slack, Zoom, Asana/Monday.com, Figma, and Google Suite
  • Experience managing contractor and agency relationships as part of the content creation process
  • Experience and expertise in search engine optimization
  • Experience marketing to or creating content for salespeople (preferred)
