QA Supervisor

As a QA Supervisor, you’ll be responsible for:

  • Assisting in the management a small team of QA employees
  • Working with a QA Manager to mentor and support the Engineers and Hybrid Engineers reporting to you.
  • Assuring management that new and refactored features are free of defects
  • Taking ownership of the defect correction workflow within the Application Development team
  • Being a strong advocate for Best Practices and Quality throughout the company
  • Conducting ongoing testing of minor feature releases
  • Suggesting improvements and documenting defects for our enterprise e-commerce system
  • Writing and implementing test plans for new projects
  • Conducting user acceptance testing sessions
  • Organizing Beta and A/B tests
  • Maintaining our defect documentation system
  • Assisting in organizing daily efforts
  • Most Importantly… Leading by example with a Sense of Urgency in the things you do.

We are looking for a person with Must Have experience:

  • Minimum of 10 years’ experience in a QA Role Testing web and mobile apps with a steady progressive growth in your career.
  • Leading and Mentoring a QA team for 2 or more years
  • Key involvement in the Hiring and Performance Evaluation of staff on your team.
  • Working with All levels of a project team to form consensus and cooperation.
  • Mentoring Jr staff on Enterprise QA Policy
  • Being a part of Peer and Jr. Staff evaluations
  • Writing and Reviewing test plans
  • Conducting or organizing User Acceptance tests
  • Conducting or organizing Beta tests
  • Using documentation systems

Bonus points if you have experience:

  • Direct Hiring and managing a QA team
  • Experience Scripting automation using Java and Selenium.
  • Identifying process and policy improvement
