Your Mission:
As a QA Developer, you’ll ensure our software’s highest quality by reviewing specifications, creating detailed test plans, and leading both automated and manual testing. You will design automation scripts, track and document bugs, and perform thorough regression testing for releases. By monitoring QA metrics and staying updated with the latest testing tools and strategies, your efforts will maintain our software’s reliability and excellence, ensuring superior solutions for our users.

By implementing advanced QA processes, you will help minimize downtime and improve product performance. Your expertise in resolving quality issues will accelerate product development cycles and enhance software quality, strengthening boxxe’s position as a leader in technology solutions.
What you’ll be doing:
- Review requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to provide timely feedback
- Develop detailed, well-structured test plans and test cases
- Estimate, prioritise, plan, and coordinate testing activities, including automated, manual, and user acceptance testing
- Design and execute automation scripts using advanced open-source tools
- Identify, document, and track bugs efficiently
- Conduct thorough regression testing for major releases
- Monitor and analyse the results of debugging processes
- Investigate causes of non-conforming software and educate users on solutions
- Maintain quality assurance metrics such as defect densities and open defect counts
- Stay updated on the latest testing tools and strategies
What Experience We Think You’ll Need:
- Proven QA expertise with a strong grasp of QA methodologies, tools, and processes
- Experience with the PHPUnit testing framework
- A keen eye for detail with a commitment to follow through and maintain processes
- Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills, capable of conducting root cause analysis and implementing preventative actions
- Excellent communication skills to clearly articulate new processes and write comprehensive test plans and cases
- Proficiency in SQL and scripting
- Familiarity with international quality standards such as ISO 9001 and ISO 27001
- Agile/Scrum development process experience
- Experience with front-end testing tools like Cypress/Selenium
- Desirable: Testing experience with ServiceNow, Adobe Commerce, and NetSuite SuiteCloud
