Public Relations Strategist

Our clients have been prominently featured in renowned media outlets such as People, CNN, The Today Show, Huffington Post, AOL, Good Morning America, WIRED, and NPR.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conceptualize and drive creative media relations strategies for clients.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive media lists using industry-standard databases.
• Craft persuasive media pitches and communicate them effectively to media outlets.
• Write compelling emails designed to engage editors and receive responses.
• Manage day-to-day communications with clients and media with minimal supervision.
• Ensure timely delivery of client deliverables and monitor overall project progress.
• Utilize data-driven insights like open rates to refine outreach strategies.
• Translate client business and marketing needs into effective PR strategies and tactics.
• Collaborate efficiently using communication tools like Slack.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Proven experience in developing media lists and generating outreach ideas for client campaigns.
• Strong skills in reporting and interpreting campaign results and media coverage.
• Expertise in writing engaging pitches that attract media attention.
• A passion for startups and technology, with an interest in innovating within the public relations field.
• Knowledge of editorial calendars, HAROs, and the distinctions between managing editors and news editors.

Work Arrangement:

This role is an independent contract position with the flexibility of 100% remote work. Candidates can work from home or any location of their choice, with a minimum requirement of 20 hours per week and a maximum of 40 hours per week. Compensation is based on completed campaigns, averaging $25-45 per hour, with additional pay for campaign add-ons.
