Marketing Optimization Manager

Job Summary:
As a Marketing Optimization Manager at PetPlace, you will drive growth and maximize conversion rates through rigorous testing, campaign optimization, strategic analysis, and data-driven insights for our insurance recommendation engine.
You will be responsible for optimizing our marketing initiatives to enhance customer acquisition and retention by leveraging your expertise in marketing analytics and digital platforms.
Main Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement data-driven marketing strategies that increase conversion rates and maximize ROI.
- Conduct in-depth analysis of marketing campaigns, website performance, and customer behavior to identify opportunities for optimization.
- Use advanced analytics tools like Microsoft PowerBI and Google Looker Studio to gather, visualize, and interpret data for actionable insights.
- Develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of marketing efforts and track progress towards organizational goals.
- Coordinate A/B testing and multivariate testing initiatives to refine landing pages, messaging, targeting, and creative elements for optimal performance.
- Understand user experience (UX) principles and best practices and advocate for user-centred web design methodologies; ensure that web and mobile interfaces are intuitive, user-friendly, and aligned with user intent.
- Research industry trends and best practices in marketing optimization, applying learnings to improve campaign performance and efficiency continuously.
- Provide regular reports and presentations, offering strategic recommendations based on data analysis and market insights.

Qualifications:
Experience: 6 years’ relevant experience
Education: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience (One-year relevant experience is equivalent to one-year college)
- Proficiency in Microsoft PowerBI, Google Looker Studio, and other analytics tools.
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills; ability to communicate complex issues clearly and concisely and keen attention to detail.
- Ability to succeed in a fast-paced environment with a high volume of competing priorities and superior time management and organizational skills.
- Customer-focused with a strong intuition for interpersonal relationships and relationship-building.
- Strong diplomatic and critical listening skills and experience using discretion with sensitive and confidential information.
- Must be an organized self-starter, have initiative and creativity, be able to work independently and as part of a team, and accept specific directions.
Level Specific Responsibilities:
- Drives and designs campaign and marketing tracking and attribution
- Leads and drives marketing dashboard report creation
- Reviews and approves the configuring, testing, and troubleshooting website and campaign tags
- Mentors and coaches subordinate team members
- Collaborates with other functions to generate and prioritize A/B testing queue
- Manages marketing analytics and reporting governance and compliance
- Interprets and recommends optimizations to user flows based on user behavior data
Accountability/Complexity:
- May manage projects requiring the responsibility of delegating work and reviewing resulting work product
- May be responsible for providing guidance, coaching, and training to other employees within job area
- May function as a team lead and assistant to the supervisor/manager
