About the Role ℹ️
We’re seeking a mid-level Legal Associate to enhance our Legal function. If you’re passionate about supporting video game companies’ growth, and seeking beyond routine, this role is for you.
In this position, you’ll play a crucial part in improving our internal operations, assisting with the daily legal needs of our portfolio companies, supporting new investment opportunities and sharing best practices with our partners and stakeholders.
You’ll report directly to the Managing Director.
This opportunity is perfect for candidates with significant experience in top-tier law firms or ‘Big4’ companies in Cyprus who are eager to balance between elevating our internal processes and boosting the operations of our exciting portfolio companies.
Our Ideal Candidate
Bachelor’s Degree in Law (LL.B).
Strong academic background.
3-5 years PQE in corporate/M&A at a top law firm or ‘Big4’ company in Cyprus.
Fluency in both Greek and English.
Knowledge of IP, employment and/or compliance issues is a plus.
Involvement in legal rankings and an LL.M are definite advantages.
Ability to explain complicated legal matters in plain language.
A passion for the beauty of documents.
Capability to work in a small team with minimal supervision.
Key Responsibilities
Improve and apply best legal practices.
Draft and review high-end corporate, commercial, employment, and investment documents.
Conduct comprehensive legal due diligences.
Develop detailed guides and checklists.
Assist with investment transactions.
Engage with local authorities.
Conduct training sessions and provide legal updates for our partners and stakeholders.
