How you’ll make an impact:

Our HR team handles a wide range of responsibilities, including recruitment, onboarding and offboarding, compliance research, policy development, and supporting managers across all departments. We strive daily to foster a culture of kindness, compassion, and respect. In this role, you’ll use our Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) to streamline and optimize our hiring process, ensuring efficient and unbiased candidate evaluations. As our company and department grow, this role may evolve into a leadership position.

What you’ll do:

  • Utilize our Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and other tools to manage candidate pipelines, ensuring a smooth and organized recruitment process from initial application to final decision
  • Keep hiring managers updated at every stage of the hiring process
  • Assist with HR Interviews and references for prospective employees (15-30 minute phone conversations, using the appropriate interview template and keeping notes for managers)
  • Respond to candidate emails in a timely and courteous manner
  • Assist the HR team and hiring managers to ensure that bias is removed from the hiring process and all candidates have an equal opportunity to succeed
  • Get candidates excited about the opportunity of working at Miaplaza!
  • Assist with general administration needs as they arise (e.g., filing signed policies, data entry)
  • We’re always dreaming up ideas/ways to improve here in HR, so other special projects are inevitable!

You may be a good fit if you have:

  • A minimum of 2 years of recruiting experience (3 or more years is preferred)
  • Experience using applicant tracking systems and other technologies
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Growth mindset and motivated by constructive feedback
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Proven ability to work independently, manage schedules, and meet deadlines
  • High motivation, a proactive attitude, and a tendency to seek opportunities for continuous improvement
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • High standards of integrity and transparency
  • Access to a computer/laptop (camera preferred) and reliable high-speed internet connection

Schedule:

  • HR Recruiting Specialists are expected to have 30-40 hours of availability each week on a year-round basis. This range of hours is designed to offer flexibility in your schedule, and there is ample work available! We consider anything over 30 hours a week to be full-time, so you would be eligible for all of our benefits!
  • What your schedule looks like is up to you! Morning person? Night owl? Somewhere in between? As long as you are meeting your deadlines and are available for weekly meetings with your supervisor and peers (generally during US business hours), we support the hours that work best for you.

💰$23 - $27/Hourly
