About The Right Team Member:

We are looking for an established Human Resources Business Partner to work with our Product, Design and Engineering (PDE) functions. This role will report to and work closely with the Manager of Business Partnerships over PDE functions, as well as a collaborative team of Business Partners and People & Culture teams (Operations, Employee Engagement, Compensation, Talent Acquisition).

The right candidate will be experienced in all areas of the business partner function and possess a strong understanding of foundational HR principles. The right candidate will:

  • Possess a strong consultative and customer service orientation towards their client group, building positive, trusting relationships.
  • Be a motivated and self-starter, who can problem solve and think analytically.
  • Have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and can build relationships and connect with leaders and employees across the globe and at all levels.
  • Be skilled in foundational HR principles and understand the basic HR processes and initiatives that are required of a progressive, global HR team.

About The Role:

  • Understand business strategy/drivers and partner with leaders to drive business results.
  • Support implementation of effective P&C initiatives and practices that will drive the strategic growth and objectives of the business.
  • Brainstorm and partner with leaders on recommendations regarding MINDBODY organizational and people related strategy.
  • Point of contact for minor to complex team member issues including conflict resolution, coaching for outcomes and conducting investigations.
  • Analyze and present people related data to business leaders on a regular basis.
  • Work with appropriate P&C partners and leaders to create a workforce plan that meets the needs of the business.
  • Provide timely information and/or education for all levels of the organization on people related matters including performance management, people development and how to lead teams.
  • Identify needs and support the business by working with other P&C specialists to implement people-oriented programs that positively impact business units.
  • Identify and develop process improvements – seek buy-in and approval for implementation.
  • Anticipate potential issues and risks, recommending mitigating actions to ensure deliverables.
  • Facilitate management, team member meetings and off-sites as needed.
  • Act as a strong employee advocate.
  • Provide guidance on employment law and best people practices.
  • Adapts communication and discussion to appeal to the specific interest, need and level of the audience
  • Other duties as assigned

Skills & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Strong xperience in an HRBP-equivalent role
  • Experience with HR Technologies
  • Experience working with US based and/or company with global presence preferred
  • Success working in a fast‐paced environment; experience working at a growing technology company is a plus.
  • Experience working with immigration processes and procedures is a plus.
  • Experience working with performance management practices, policies and procedures.
  • A strong sense of accountability, ownership and pride in work performed.
  • Self‐managing, results‐oriented, and capable of managing multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to practice professional discretion; recognize and assess potential challenges in situations.
  • Based on business needs, occasional travel to satellite or international locations may be required.
