Graphic Design Sr. Analyst

In this role you would be responsible for creat ing and appl y i ng designs to the production of creative projects such as advertisements, publications, event displays, collateral and more . This role is also responsible for the design of web page layout s , user interface graphics and other digital assets in a way that engages our target audience and provides optimal user experience . T he Graphic Design Senior Analyst works closely with project owners, stakeholders, vendors, and other designers to meet the business needs while ensur ing high quality control and project delivery in a timely manner .

This role is 100% remote – however, candidate must be located in CST or EST time zone.

Responsibilities:

• Plan, layout, design, and prepare collateral, digital and print ads/banners, ebooks , infographics, whitepapers, diagrams and more
• Design images, banners, and other graphics to improve the sites appearance as well as i mplement improvements to overall page design and structure
• Create wireframes and m ockup design s and refinement s for new web-based initiatives or enhancements including layout, user interface graphics, and navigation
• Produce assets for events and tradeshows including booth displays, signage, pull-ups, promotional assets, marketing materials and more
• Collaborate with technical writers, marketing specialists , developers and others to understand design requirements and improve end-to-end user experience across the buyers journey
• Attend planning meetings and kickoff calls with key stakeholders to determine project schedules and scope to meet business needs . Duties may also involve working with various vendors, contractors, internal stakeholders and outside sources
• Develop and appl y specialized knowledge within own discipline. Deepen knowledge through exposure to new assignments and continuous learning

Qualifications:

• In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, XD, and Acrobat)
• Solid experience in web and graphic design with a strong understanding of design principles supported by an online portfolio of functional examples
• K nowledge of user experience and/or user interface principles including e xperience working with developers and stakeholders on storyboarding to improve front-end web experience and usability
• Strong experience and knowledge of production work including document formatting and exporting, event/tradeshow display and signage preparation , etc
• Pre-press knowledge, including production specification and terminology, dies, common production file formats, image resolution, and special printing techniques
• Understands page layout, such as composition, color space, imagery, and typography
• Excellent design and organizational skills, be a team player, complete work efficiently within deadlines and budget, have acute attention to detail, and have the ability to handle multiple tasks and projects
• Picks up on technical things quickly; is good at learning new industry, company, product, and/or technical developments of the business
• Can follow creative direction and use feedback from multiple team members to hone and improve designs
• Brings a positive attitude and willingness to help team members and clients with e xcellent verbal and written communication skills

Preferences:

• Experience working in Digital Asset Management (DAM) systems and project management/collaboration tools
• Experience with, or understand of, agency workflow and agile methodology
• Experience with Interface Design tools such as Figma, Zeplin and Sketch
• Experience with animation, digital and/or video applications

Experience:

• Undergraduate degree (BA or BFA preferably in Graphic Design or related area ) and 1-3 years relevant experience or Graduate degree and 0-2 years relevant experience
