Front-End Developer

imre is one of the fastest growing and most exciting healthcare marketing agencies today, and we’re looking to add a Sr. Front-end Developer to our team of experts.

As a sr. front-end developer within the agency, you will be responsible for providing hands-on front-end development expertise as well as technical and logistical consultation regarding development feasibility and timing across several projects and portfolios.

Reporting to the VP of Experience Design and Deployment, the person we’re looking for brings a wealth of front-end development experience, solid QA methodologies and an solid understanding of SEO and accessibility implementation in front-end platforms. This person will also have an opportunity to shape how imre approaches digital development, recommending processes and frameworks that enable us to deliver quality products more efficiently than ever.

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

Working with client teams to develop the overall look and design of websites, banners, emails, etc.
Writing website code with programming languages such as HTML, C++ and Java
Producing, maintaining and modifying websites and user interfaces
Incorporating applications, graphics, audio and video clips into client websites
Creating tools that enhance the user’s website experience
Ensuring websites are accessible across many platforms, including laptops and smartphones
Routinely testing websites for ease of use, speed and other quality factors
Fixing any website issues or bugs that arise
Liaison communications between project teams and any 3rd party development, SEO, or QA vendors
Write technical documentation, including, but not limited to functional requirements, business rules, architecture diagrams, API specifications, deployment procedures, etc.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Statistics, or relevant field.
7+ years of front-end development experience (pharma experience is a plus).
Fluency in multiple front-end languages and libraries (e.g. HTML/ CSS, ReactJS, XML, jQuery)
Proficient with JavaScript frameworks such as AngularJS, Node.js, and Vue.js Proven track record at exceeding client expectations and building trusted relationships.
Knowledge of multiple back-end languages (e.g. C#, Java, Python)
Strong communication skills, proven ability to partner with development, SEO, and QA vendors at specific points in the project timeline.
Veeva and WordPress experience is a plus
Develop staffing plans and assignments, including estimation support on development needs for inbound business.

Salary Range: $110,000-$140,000/year
