Email Marketing Specialist

The inriver Global Marketing team is a diverse and ambitious group distributed across North America, Sweden, and the Netherlands. Tasked with elevating the inriver brand within the PIM industry and driving new business pipeline, the Global Marketing team plays a critical role in achieving inriver’s growth goals in the coming years and beyond. We are seeking highly collaborative, data-driven, and solutions-oriented individuals to join us on the journey to making inriver the #1 leading PIM in the enterprise and mid-size market.

The Role:

As the Email Marketing Specialist on the Global Marketing team, you will play a pivotal role in developing and executing B2B email marketing strategies aimed at driving engagement and pipeline growth. You will focus on nurturing relationships with existing inriver customers and prospects who fit our Ideal Customer Profile (ICP) in mid-market and enterprise manufacturing and retail sectors across North America and Europe. This role requires a deep understanding of email marketing best practices, marketing automation, and CRM systems.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute end-to-end email marketing strategies using Pardot, targeting key audiences within our ICP.
  • Utilize Salesforce and Pardot databases to segment audiences based on behaviors, demographics, and intent.
  • Implement A/B testing strategies to optimize email content and performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to execute lead nurturing, customer marketing, and channel marketing programs.
  • Build and deploy visually compelling email templates that align with inriver’s brand identity and are optimized for conversion.
  • Act as a marketing automation expert, managing email campaigns and providing insights to optimize performance.
  • Generate KPI reports for email marketing campaigns, providing strategic insights and recommendations for improvement.
  • Stay updated with email marketing trends and ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations (e.g., CAN-SPAM, GDPR).

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of hands-on experience using email marketing platforms such as Pardot, Marketo, Eloqua, Act-On, or HubSpot.
  • Proficiency in HTML and CSS coding for email templates; experience with coding for different email clients preferred.
  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful B2B email marketing strategies and campaigns.
  • Experience with CRM systems, preferably Salesforce.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to use data to drive decision-making and measure marketing performance.
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) or equivalent work experience.

Bonus Skills:

  • Experience with product information management (PIM) solutions.
  • Pardot Certified Specialist or Certified Consultant.
  • Salesforce.com certification and understanding of demand generation, lead scoring, campaign management, and data quality.
