Why this role?
Reporting to the VP, Sales, the Director, Sales will drive year-over-year growth. developing & executing on strategies for landing new customers. You will drive long term employee success with a focus on coaching, development, and building a high-performance team. In this leadership role, you will be pivotal in cultivating and guiding our sales team to surpass revenue targets & organizational goals. As our Director, Sales you will:
Lead and collaborate with Sales Managers and Account Executives, and other stakeholders to align on sales strategies & objectives.
Drive and manage sales teams in the field. Establish and maintain strong relationships with enterprise sized/F100 key client prospects, driving revenue growth and customer satisfaction.
Provide ongoing training, guidance, and support to Sales Managers and their teams, in an effort to enhance their skills and performance.
Analyze data and market trends, identifying opportunities for growth and optimization.
Monitor and report on sales team performance, including key metrics and KPIs, to senior management. This career opportunity may be a good match for you if you have:
10+ years experience managing sales managers & leading sales efforts at a Software/SaaS (or similar technical) organization.
Strong experience building, mentoring and coaching sales leadership & teams.
A proven track record of consistent over-achievement of quota and revenue goals.
Experience identifying, developing, negotiating, and closing large-scale complex enterprise sized sales cycles.
Sales management skills including planning, negotiating, forecasting, organizing for results, hiring, leading and evaluating people.
Superior interpersonal, collaboration and communication skills.
