Job Description:

We are looking for a DevOps Engineer to join our team and help us build and maintain our data infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have experience in effective communication. They will also be self-sufficient, resourceful, and eager to learn. Tactacam is seeking a talented DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic teams. As a DevOps Engineer at Tactacam, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the reliability, scalability, and efficiency of our AWS and Lambda-based stack. Your expertise in AWS, Code Pipelines, GitHub Actions, JavaScript, and Shell scripting will be instrumental in driving our continuous improvement efforts.

Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and maintain robust AWS infrastructure to support Tactacam’s services and applications.
• Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines using AWS CodePipeline and GitHub
• Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines using AWS CodePipeline and GitHub Actions to automate software deployments and ensure code quality.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize the development workflow, from code commit to production deployment.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve infrastructure issues, ensuring high availability and performance.
• Implement best practices for security, compliance, and disaster recovery in the AWS environment.
• Automate routine tasks and processes through scripting using languages such as JavaScript and Shell.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies, recommending innovative solutions to enhance our DevOps practices.

Requirements:

• Proven experience with AWS services and infrastructure management.
• Strong expertise in setting up and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using AWS Code Pipelines and GitHub Actions.
• Proficiency in scripting languages, including JavaScript and Shell, for automation and infrastructure as code.
• Familiarity with serverless architecture, particularly AWS Lambda.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.l
• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with cross-functional teams.
• AWS certifications (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps EngineerAWS certifications (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer) are a plus.
