MindgruveMacarta is on a mission to revolutionize the retail industry and become a leading global marketplace agency for brands around the world. As a Copywriter you will play a critical role in helping lead the Copy Team to deliver outstanding service and content to our brand partners.

As Copywriter, you’ll be instrumental in bringing our clients’ brands to life on the Amazon platform. You will support the Creative team across the full scope of Amazon tasks for our clients. Focusing on writing copy including, but not limited to, product descriptions, ad copy, Brand Store copy and keyword research, you will manage multiple projects concurrently, maintaining impeccable organization and meeting deadlines consistently. MindgruveMacarta is an entrepreneurial place, so you’ll wear many different hats, but your primary job will be to work with our Creative team to bring to life the brands we represent.

We are a collaborative team both internally and with brand partners, so clear communication skills are imperative for the growth of our team and their businesses. What You’ll Do Here:

• Copywriting
• Strategic Product Copy. Leverage search term data gathered through Helium10 and other tools to write relevant product copy that converts.
• Proofreading and Editing. Write and proofread copy and e-commerce content across a wide variety of media. Strong grammatical and spelling skills required.
• Copy Updates. Facilitate periodic content optimizations and keyword implementation using data gathered from ad campaigns, industry trends, and extensive keyword research.
• Macarta Blog. Research and build blog posts covering relevant Amazon and marketplace news, industry tips, and insightful account information Vendors, Sellers, and potential Brand Partners.
• Listing Management
• Asset Management. Compile and format PDP uploads to be shared with appropriate teams for marketplace upload.
• Branded Content. Occasionally assist in the production of creative branded content for our clients. This includes Posts copy, ad copy, brand taglines, etc.
• Other duties as assigned:
• Collaborative Mentality. Willingness to assist the team in any way possible.

We Need a Person With:

• Strong writing and grammatical skills
• Ability to think ‘outside the box’ regarding how to best position products on Amazon through product content and creative
• Proven track-record of ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize appropriately
• Strong communication skills and time management
• Self-motivated, detail oriented in a results-driven environment
• Client relationship experience is a plus

Compensation:

• Salary: $55,000 – $65,000

Compensation will be commensurate with experience. Additionally, for eligible full-time employees, we offer a competitive benefits package including medical insurance, dental insurance, and vision insurance; a flexible spending account; voluntary life and accident plans; and a 401(k) retirement plan with matching. Our headquarters is based in San Diego, California, with an additional office in Denver, Colorado. We’re seeking local candidates (or those open to relocation) who are able to work collaboratively with us in one of our office’s; however, based on business needs and unique job functions, some roles may be eligible for remote work. (Bonus points if you’re bilingual in Spanish and/or Portuguese.)
