Copywriter
Alludo is looking for an experienced Copywriter to collaborate with the SEO and Content Marketing teams to increase Alludo’s consumer-facing websites, e-books, PPC ads, banners, email, and more. You will make a meaningful contribution to the SEO and Content program and require editorial experience along with strong SEO skills. Working with other writers, editors, and our in-house experts, you’ll use your knowledge of creative copywriting to create compelling and optimized content. You are comfortable conducting SEO research, pitching, and writing articles that take complex topics and translate them for an everyday audience.

As a Copywriter, You Will:
- Know what it takes to write for brands in highly regulated industries yet not let the fear of red tape stop a good idea from coming to life.
- Write engaging and informative content that’s optimized for search engines, PPC ads, emails, and more.
- Use keyword research tools to increase SEO content with recommendations and briefs where required.
- Review and improve existing content.
- Content marketing with performance in mind.
- Demonstrate an ability to elevate every assignment you’re on; from social copy to a video script. The copywriter should be able to inspire those around them and push the paradigm of mediocrity that plagues the industry.
- Be just as comfortable writing a sales ad or helping out with content that is a bit more technical at times – whatever the team needs. Your portfolio should reflect work with elegance and intelligence.
What YOU Bring To The Table:
- 4+ years of experience as a copywriter within an agency and/or in-house team. A portfolio with creative, relevant work for which you were primarily responsible is required.
- You love writing — of all shapes and sizes. From navigating a headline’s tight character limit to crafting a detailed video script, every word deserves consideration.
- You’re comfortable with turning a specific project around in minutes or spending a day brainstorming on a blank page.
- You’re perfectly capable of managing your own workload but are keen to collaborate with a team to take ideas further.
- You understand that copy and design work hand in hand, and you’ll work with your art director partner and our team of designers to elevate every concept.
- You listen to data and will happily seek it and use it to guide your strategy and message.
- Proficiency in SEO best practices and tools, such as SEMrush, etc.
- You will have an understanding of content management systems (e.g., WordPress, Drupal, etc.) and basic HTML
