Content Writer

The Content Writer is a specialist within the Proposals & Opportunities team (the team). The team focuses on project managing and delivering UKIME regional proposals and opportunities – and global proposals and opportunities where required and where capacity allows – with the ultimate objectives of winning new business, generating tangible revenue, and demonstrating adherence to best practices at all times.

In particular, the Content Writer will deliver high-quality and tailored content for allocated proposals and opportunities. They will be required to work in a highly collaborative way with other members of the team – and members of the wider Clients & Markets team – in varying capacities. In addition, the Content Writer will play a key role in updating and further developing key tools in Dentons’ best practice proposals toolkit.

Responsibilities:

Core content development tasks:

  • Developing content, for example, answers to specific questions for allocated proposals and opportunities.
  • Updating and further developing Dentons’ content library and additional proposal resources such as the RFP questions and answers reference guide.

Additional content tasks:

  • Providing copyediting and proofreading support on allocated proposals and opportunities.

Required experience, skills, and attributes:

  • Experience in self-managing assigned tasks – engaging directly with stakeholders – and demonstrating strong specialist, innovative, and creative capabilities.
  • Experience gained within international organisations, preferably professional/legal services environments.
  • Developed the ability to always see things from the client perspective.
  • Advanced content development skills with strong attention to detail are essential.
  • Advanced copyediting and proofreading skills.
  • Advanced team working skills within high-performing teams/matrix structures.
  • Qualification requirements
  • Degree education and journalist qualifications are desirable but not essential.
