Candidate Development Recruiter

The Contract Candidate Development Recruiter will be crucial in building and maintaining a strong pipeline of qualified candidates to meet the organization’s growing hiring needs. This role focuses on proactively sourcing, engaging, and nurturing top talent, ensuring a continuous flow of candidates for current and future positions. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for identifying talent, a strong understanding of the candidate market, and the ability to build relationships that lead to successful hires.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Proactive Sourcing: Identify and engage passive candidates through various channels, including social media, professional networks, job boards, and industry events.
  • Candidate Nurturing: Develop and maintain relationships with potential candidates, keeping them engaged and informed about relevant opportunities within the organization.
  • Pipeline Management: Build and manage a pipeline of qualified candidates for key roles, ensuring that the talent pool is aligned with current and future hiring needs.
  • Collaboration with Hiring Teams: Partner with hiring managers and recruiters to understand role requirements, hiring timelines, and candidate profiles.
  • Market Research: Conduct market research to identify talent trends, salary benchmarks, and competitive insights that inform sourcing strategies.
  • Candidate Screening: Perform initial screenings to assess candidate fit, focusing on qualifications, experience, and cultural alignment.
  • Data Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate records in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and other recruitment databases.
  • Employer Branding: Collaborate with the recruitment marketing team to promote the organization’s employer brand and attract top talent.
  • Metrics and Reporting: Track and report on key sourcing metrics, including time-to-source, candidate engagement rates, and pipeline health.

Qualifications:

Experience:

2-4 years of experience in talent sourcing, candidate development, or recruitment, preferably within a fast-paced environment.

Skills:

  • Proven ability to source and engage passive candidates using various tools and platforms.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships with candidates and internal stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
  • Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and recruitment databases.
  • Familiarity with market research tools and techniques.
