Blockchain Engineer

We are looking for a Blockchain Engineer to join us on a mission to make permissionless, interoperable data serve as the foundational building blocks not just for Web3, but for the future of the internet itself.

We’re in preparations to launch our newest blockchain product on Mainnet, and there’s plenty of exciting work before and after the launch.

We’re a remote-first company, so you can be based anywhere, as long as your schedule is aligned with European timezones (and you’re always free to come to the offices in Vilnius/Kaunas, too!)

Main responsibilities:

• Write blockchain and associated off-chain services code in Golang and Cosmos SDK.
• Deploy blockchain upgrades via on-chain proposals.
• Writing unit tests, writing or performing manual integration tests.
• Reviewing others’ code, designs and requests for comments.
• Listening to product requirements and offering the feature designs.
• Documenting the blockchain features and API.

Requirements:

• At least 4 years hands-on software engineering experience, with a minimum of 1 year in blockchain/web3 development
• Experience with the Cosmos ecosystem and Cosmos SDK (a big plus)
• Proficiency in Golang (required), Solidity (a plus).
• Familiarity with cryptography and experience with Public Key Infrastructure (PKI)
• MSc or PhD degree in one of the STEM disciplines (a plus).
• Strong interpersonal, oral and written communication skills
• Self-motivated and able to tackle challenging, complex problems in an individual or team-based setting.
• A proactive approach, ability to take ownership of your tasks and a solution-focused mindset.
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and high-quality output.
• Willingness to learn new things.
