Job Description
If you are a seller who loves the excitement of working for an industry leader that continues to evolve, you’ve found your next role. We are looking for a senior seller who has a background in, digital marketing and data sales. The Senior Account Executive position at Experian Automotive will work with our OEM agencies of record (media planning, analytics, campaign activation) and digital platform partners to grow existing lines of businesses including data activation, integration and measurement.
As the sales lead on your portfolio of automotive advertisers, you will be responsible for revenue growth, strategy development, scoping and implementation. Your clients will see you as their trusted consultant who understands their challenges, provides invaluable insights drawn from Experian’s arsenal of automotive insights, and tailors solutions to help them solve for their challenges. Additionally, you will partner internally with the OEM sales lead and our consultants to collaborate on an integrated business plan and strategy supporting your advertisers. You will report to our Senior Director-Platform & Agency Partnerships. This position is remote-friendly.
Requirements:
Experience with trends and developments in digital products, its possible effects to Experian Automotive and how to best leverage to win more share of digital media budgets, (e.g. ad tech, data/data onboarding, CRM systems, attribution models/software, targeting platforms)
A thinker who can navigate large agencies and uncover needs to address client challenges with relevant insights and enterprise level solutions that elevates Experian to preferred partner status
Grow revenue and exceed sales goals by networking horizontally and vertically within agencies and platforms to acquire new business/contracts, upselling and renewing existing business
Develop client relationships and senior level agency relationships.
Collaborate and partner across Experian teams to identify and tailor solutions to meet client needs
Cleary position the benefits of our data, product suite and business model to decision makers at the agencies and platforms, demonstrating how Experian Automotive can help grow their business.
Create business plans for each client that outlines untapped opportunities, new revenue streams and partnerships.
Desired Skills and Attributes
In-depth background in digital marketing, data activation, and measurement concerning acquisition and retention strategies and the application of data solutions to power go-to-market plans, analytics, modeling, and attribution
A confidant sales lead who can navigate large platforms, media planning and buying agencies, and holding companies to reach decision makers.
Manage contacts, activities and revenue tracking in Salesforce.com
Track record in positioning data products and solutions, using data to guide insights, creating meaningful meeting content and delivering impactful sales pitches to our clients and partners
Experience selling audiences and measurement solutions directly to auto advertisers and to their ad agencies and working with demand side platforms on campaign activation.
Background in sales success – achieving and surpassing goals, and managing to a revenue goal
Motivated, curious and creative team player who strives to exceed goals and push revenue expectations
Familiarity with the auto industry and competitive environment
Experience establishing communication and engagement with prospects
Willingness to travel as needed
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in advertising, communications, marketing, or a related discipline, though candidates with relevant experience who hold other degrees will be considered.
5-7 years in digital media sales and data sales. Senior level agency media planning or large ad agency trading desk. DSP or SSP experience.
Location: U.S. remote (Detroit Metro or Tri-State area)
