Role Overview:
The Sales Manager plays an essential role in developing and executing strategic sales plans to expand across their designated territories. This role demands a highly motivated and strategic individual who can identify and pursue new business opportunities, manage and expand player relationships, and achieve sales targets within the dynamic gaming industry. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of regional market nuances and will leverage this insight to tailor strategies that drive growth and market penetration in Canada.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and onboard VIP (high-end) gamblers through sales strategies like Prospecting and Growth Marketing.
- Drive incremental revenue through new VIP player acquisition efforts.
- Elaborate and implement comprehensive sales strategies tailored to the unique demands and opportunities of each designated market.
- Execute strategies to acquire new players, successfully onboard them onto the platform and spark their engagement to increase their activity and growth.
- Establish, develop, and maintain strong relationships with current and prospective players, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and loyalty.
- Meet and exceed sales targets through effective planning, forecasting, and execution of sales strategies.
- Identify potential sales opportunities and develop innovative out of the box strategies to accelerate growth and enhance market penetration.
- Collaborate closely with global sales and marketing teams to align strategies and report on sales progress and market insights to company leadership.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to assess sales growth and take appropriate action to meet targets on time.
- Continuously analyze market trends, customer behavior, and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in sales, business development or related fields with proven experience in meeting sales targets, preferably within the target region.
- Fluency in English is required.
- Ideally located in Canada.
- Background in the gaming industry is a plus.
- Deep understanding of the business and cultural nuances of the designated region, with the ability to leverage this insight to drive sales and build relationships.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively negotiate and persuade across different cultural contexts.
- Strong analytical and strategic planning skills.
- Ability to think outside the box and develop innovative strategies to meet and exceed performance goals.
