We are seeking a Lead Product Designer for our portfolio of FinTech products and destinations including Quicken Loans. Reporting to the Sr. Director of Product Design and UX Research, you will be responsible for the design and reimagining of the Quicken Loans platform experience so that millions of consumers can benefit from a state-of-the-art experience that helps position them to purchase a home, refinance a home, or gain access to personal loans. What You Will Do:
Apply modern design principles and user-centered design methodologies to create a world-class user experience for tens of millions of consumers.
Define, co-create, and communicate the experience direction using appropriate tools to describe intent. This includes, sketches, user flows, prototypes, and animations.
Lead every stage of the product design lifecycle including problem space discovery, ideation, prototyping, testing with consumers, and iterating.
Collaborate with product managers, marketers, developers, and business stakeholders to define and deliver value.
Partner with UX Research colleagues, our Data Science team, and our Consumer Insights team to run experiments with customers so that you can obtain insights that influence and inform your design decisions.
Create meaningful product solutions that improve lives, drive revenue, and improve engagement, acquisition, and retention.
Bring inspiring and creative ideas into an energetic and collaborative team that is nimble and moves fast to get value into consumers’ hands.
Provide mentorship for more junior designers. Your Qualifications:
7+ years of experience designing user experiences in a startup, a direct-to-consumer business or consumer-centric company.
Expert proficiency of information architecture, interaction design, and visual design.
Experience leading the design of a product within a cross-functional team.
Experience working with and constructing design systems and working knowledge of component libraries.
Proven experience designing mobile-first experiences as well as designing for responsive websites and/or progressive web app experiences.
Expert knowledge of Figma and Miro.
A clear understanding of WCAG, usability, user-centered design, and design thinking.
Proven experience designing for ancillary touchpoints such as email, SMS, and chat-based interactions.
Successful management of stakeholders.
Excellent leadership and communication skills.
Degree in Design-related field or equivalent experience. $145,000 – $193,000 a year
